The US Cultural & Heritage Marketing Council joined forces with Visit Sacramento and the City of Sacramento's Office of Arts and Culture as they presented The Cultural Tourism Symposium at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Richard Peterson, President & CEO of USCHMC, co-created this program to showcase the importance of Cultural Tourism for Sacramento and their greater creative community

Sacramento’s approach in leading this inaugural symposium is just one ingredient in promoting cultural exchange, discussing best practices in tourism, and exploring ways to preserve, celebrate and develop the unique cultural assets of the Sacramento region.
