The U.S. Cultural & Heritage Tourism Marketing Council (USCHMC) was invited to spearhead a cultural & heritage symposium session for the 2019 Louisiana Lt. Governor's Travel Summit, held in Baton Rouge.
"Louisiana's urban connections have a multicultural, multilingual heritage, that is strongly influenced by a blend of 18th-century French, Spanish, Haitian, Native American, and African cultures. Simply Louisiana.", says Richard Peterson, CEO of USCHMC.
"It was important to have the conversations surrounding arts, culture, heritage, history, outdoor and culinary insights with Louisiana's tourism community. The collective engagement and collaborative insights shared supported the wider need to have ongoing conversations surrounding cultural marketing on an ongoing basis." says Peterson.
Thank you Louisiana Travel Association and @VisitBatonRouge for the hospitality!
